Halloween Weekend

Posted by Bryce Wend on November 9, 2009

Halloween (and holidays in general)  are getting a lot more fun now that Mason’s getting older.

This year we decided to dress Mason up as a lion and naturally we became his zoo keepers.

Friday afternoon started off with a Halloween parade and trick-or-treating around his school.

We followed that up with dinner and trick-or-treating in downtown Campbell.

All the shopkeepers adored him but it was tough work to keep up with all the fun.

The next day on Halloween Natalie, Aleks, Pat & Ron came over to celebrate and hand out candy.

Mason wasn’t too keen on the lion headpiece…

The truth is he preferred our pith hats.

At dusk we left the house to take Mason around the neighborhood for a little trick-or-treating.

Luckily we brought the stroller.

And Natalie was there to greet us at the door!

Mother In-Law

Posted by Bryce Wend on July 27, 2009

THIS is my mother in-law.

So here’s the thing about Patty, she is one of the most amazing grandparents I have ever met.

She loves her grandchildren more than life itself sometimes.  Personally I think it’s because she is so young at heart herself.

It’s a privledge to call her my mother in-law.
